Caring for the skin you are in!
Everyone wishes that they were born with beautiful skin. Of course, not everyone is that lucky. Having beautiful skin can also mean following some tips and tricks to keeping your skin clean and healthy: from the inside-out! Some tips for beautiful skin:
- DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! Drinking water helps plump up your cells as well as eliminate wastes in your body. If you don't drink enough water, you may see your skin drier than normal. Plus, drinking water has it's side benefits: a healthier you!
- WEAR SUNSCREEN! We all want to tan, but if you don't use a sunscreen or sunblock, your skin becomes more susceptible to UV damage, which is responsible for flakiness, dryness, hyperpigmentation, and worst of all, skin cancer risks. Think about it! Scientists constantly talk about the depletion of the ozone layer, making it easy to get burned nowadays! If you don't like sunscreens or sunblock, always wear dark glasses and a wide-brimmed hat and try to stay out of the sun as much as possible!
- EXERCISE! Exercise is great for clearing out your pores. Not to mention, help you feel energized and possible lose those extra pounds! As you sweat, the pores open up and purge out all the collected dead skin cells and sebum.
- WASH YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY! Once in the morning and once at night before bed. I know you want to look like you were 'born this sexy' whenyou woke up, BUT, fact is, wearing makeup to bed will result in clogged pores and as a result, PIMPLES! Make sure you use a gentle cleanser and a cotton face cloth to really get your face clean. Apply the cleanser onto wet skin and use the face cloth to scrub gently. This will loosen dead skin as well as all the makeup and unwanted stuff you have left on your pores.
- USE PROPER SKIN CARE! Get a good cleanser, toner, serum, day moisturizer with SPF, Night cream, and Eye Cream! If you feed your skin, your skin will thank you back! Think of these things as nourishment for your precious skin! You were born with that beautiful face of yours, and you need to ensure it is well-taken care of!
